Who we are
We are non-profit, educational, and social organization dedicated to both serious and recreational cycling enthusiasts. We are a USA Cycling registered bicycling club consisting of a wide range of riders of various ages, backgrounds, and professions, who share a common love for cycling. Our goal is to provide our members with the opportunity and support to ride and compete while having fun in a safe manner. It is our goal to train new cyclists, grow the skills of our club and race participants, to be cycling advocates in our community, and to benefit a variety of local charities, such as Women On Wheels, benefiting SPARCC and the Team Tony Cancer Foundation.

We are located in the Sarasota/Manatee area of Florida. We have a very active ride schedule with group rides originating primarily in Lakewood Ranch, but we ride all over Bradenton and Sarasota as well. Our group rides cater to various levels of ability, with ride leaders making sure the pace is controlled and assisting with pace line instruction when needed. Our beginners start out in a 14-18mph group and ride 20 miles. Our most advanced group rides 35 miles at speeds over 26mph, and we have many levels in between. We are primarily a road biking club but have members that participate in mountain biking, cyclocross, and triathlons as well.
We have a USA Cycling Race Team sponsored by Sarasota General Dentistry, SouthTech Solutions, Village Bikes, MacAllisters Grill & Tavern, Center State Bank, Ryder Bicycle Shop, Michael Belle Real Estate Attorney and Sea Sucker. Members can be found at local road, circuit, crit, mountain bike, triathlon, and cyclocross races.
Our Facebook group has become a local hub for the cycling community, and can be educational, fun, and a great source of daily “pickup” rides, where speeds, distance, time, and route are announced. Please check our website calendar for regularly scheduled group rides, as well as Charity rides, and rides from other clubs around the state that we participate in.
Please feel free to browse around our site, or better yet, come on out and ride with us!
